Built in 1864, the McConnell-Butler House has stood for generations as a place of gathering. After serving many roles throughout the decades, everything from a private residence to a medical office, the home has been carefully remodeled and reimagined into a destination that honors its rich history while embracing a new chapter.

Today, Swan House is home to our timeless Proper Tea experience, a welcoming coffee & tea shop, and beautifully curated suites on the second floor. We welcome guests to savor the unique flavors we offer, celebrate their special moments, and enjoy the everyday.

The teas were wonderful, served perfectly steeped, and the food was all delicious and in generous servings. The staff was also sweet as can be and made sure my 7 year old niece felt like a princess. I can’t wait to come back!

I had the best time at the Swan Tea Room for my bridal shower. The staff were very friendly and provided great service. Everyone absolutely loved all of the sweet and savory bakes. The building is absolutely gorgeous! No decor is even needed if you don't want it. All of the teas we had were so good and unique. They even have some available for sale. To top it off, they have a beautiful and fun backdrop you can use for photos.
